BUT MAINLY HER LOVE OF THE 70'S ERA

THOUGH SOME OF HER WORK IS HAND FABRICATED, HER METAL ART IS MOSTLY CREATED THROUGH A LOST WAX CAST PROCESS.

 IN ORDER TO CREATE FLOW & MOVEMENT BETWEEN THE COLLECTIONS, SOME OF THE DESIGNS ARE CREATED

BY ADDING HIGH END VINTAGE RECYCLED CHAINS WITH LEYLA BAHAR DESIGNS COMPONENTS.

UNLIKE TRADITIONAL CLASPS, A RECOGNIZABLE SIGNATURE ELEMENT OF ASTROLOGICAL LEO CLASP IS ADDED TO MOST UP-CYCLED PIECES, 

INTENDED TO BE SHOWCASED AS A PART OF THE DESIGN AESTHETIC. 

IT IS OFTEN SEEN WORN ON EITHER SIDE OF THE NECKLACE WITH THE OPTION OF BEING HIDDEN IN THE BACK.

 

THE IMPERFECTIONS & TEXTURES PURPOSELY APPLIED TO HER DESIGN HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED TO CREATE SIMILAR CALMING EFFECTS

OF A WORRY STONE WHEN RUBBED OR FELT.

 

EACH OF HER PIECES ARE BESPOKE & A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM ONE ANOTHER. 

SHE DESIGNS THEM TO BECOME A COLLECTABLE HEIRLOOM WORK OF RAW METAL ART JEWELRY.

INFLUENCED BY A MIX OF MANY CIRE-PERDUE (LOST WAX CAST) TRADITIONS.
